Terms & Conditions Competition

  • By submitting your photos, you confirm that the work is your own and that you have the rights to these photos.
  • By submitting your photos, you grant GAAAP PTY LTD the right to use your images for promotional and informational purposes, including sharing on our website and social media platforms. Full credit will be given to the photographers.
  • Photo Sharing: Our Competition will officially run on our Facebook page. All entries will be shared on our respective GAAAP Social Media platforms. Invite friends to like our page and your photos; the most-liked photos on our Facebook Page win. GAAAP’s decision is final.
  • Winners will be notified via the email address provided during submission. Please ensure the provided email address is accurate and regularly checked in order for you to receive any additional information regarding the competition.
  • Sign up for our newsletter to stay up to date about our latest news and endeavours.
  • Personal information collected for this competition will be used solely for this competition and will not be shared or sold to any third parties.
  • Participants are welcome to submit multiple entries to the competition, with an entry fee of R50 per submission. Please note that only entries accompanied by the corresponding submission fee will be eligible for publication.
  • Entry to the GAAAP Photo Competition #2 is completely free of charge; no payment is required at any stage to participate.
  • GAAAP PTY LTD reserves the right to cancel or modify the competition if circumstances arise beyond our control, affect the fair conduct of the contest.
  • Participants must adhere to the complete competition terms and conditions, which will be made available upon request.
  • Code of Conduct:

    We encourage a positive and respectful environment among participants. By entering the competition, you commit to:

    Interacting respectfully with other participants on the platform, including comments and any associated events.
    Ensuring that all submitted content adheres to community guidelines, avoiding offensive, inappropriate, or discriminatory material.
    Fostering a spirit of collaboration and mutual support, reflecting our shared passion for conservation.

  • Disqualification Criteria:

    GAAAP PTY LTD reserves the right to disqualify any participant under the following conditions:

    Submission of content that violates the competition rules or falls outside the theme of conservation.
    Plagiarism or the use of others’ work without proper attribution.
    Engagement in any form of cheating or unethical behavior during the competition.
    Participants are expected to adhere to these guidelines to ensure fair and respectful participation in the GAAAP Photo Competition.

Conservation Sign-Up Guidelines

We welcome all conservation organizations committed to making a positive impact on our environment. To join our community of dedicated conservation projects, ensure you meet the following criteria:

Getting Started:

1. Eligibility

Must be a Certified NPC/NPO with a registered South African Bank Account   

Must have an approved PAYFAST Gateway Account

Legitimate Conservation Projects only

2. Verification Process

Our commitment to transparency means we verify each conservation organization. Submit the necessary verification documents through our secure portal.

3. Required Verification Documents

Organization Details:

  • Provide comprehensive information about your conservation organization, including its mission, projects, and impact.
  • Upload a valid registration certificate confirming your organization’s legal status.
 

Contact Information:

Submit accurate contact details, including a dedicated email address for communication.

Verification Documents:

  • Upload proof of identification for key organizational members.
  • Provide project-related documents for the initiatives you wish to showcase.
 

Verification Process:

Our team will carefully review your submission to verify its legitimacy and alignment with our mission. This process typically takes 3-5 business days.

4. What’s Next?

Once verified, your conservation project will be live on our platform. Donors can find, support, and contribute directly to your cause. Share you link and let the Fundraising begin!

5. Donation Process

Donors contribute directly to your conservation project through our platform. 

Secure Payment Gateway: We use PayFast (A Trusted Payment Gateway Service Provider) for seamless transactions. 

Transaction Fee: A 10% fee is deducted for GAAAP, plus the Payment Gateways Transaction fees. See below for more information.

Our Transaction Fee

A 10% transaction fee is applied to the donation amount donated on our platform to cover platform maintenance, marketing efforts, support, and further development. This helps us sustain and grow, ensuring we can continue supporting conservation efforts. 

Our Payment Gateways Transaction Fee

PayFast deducts a standard fee for processing payments securely.
